Season Tickets for the 2010 Southwest Dragon Football team will go on sale on August 16th. Please visit the fieldhouse located by Southwest Stadium, Monday - Thursday, 9am to 4pm. The season tickets are $25 and are vaild for the 5 home games, including the Thursday Night Lights broadcast that will be shown live on KMYS My35. |

August 2nd - 5th Registration at 7:30am Incoming 7th, 8th & 9th From 8am to 12pm
Practice as Follows:
10th-12th grade 6am at field
9th grade 7:45 am
Parent meeting at the field house meeting room on August 12th
August 14th report for pictures at 7:30 for V/JV and at 8:30 for 9th grade. |

It is time to prepare for another exciting 2010-2011 Southwest Athletic Season. The coaches and players are anticipating a great year. It is through the generous support from the community that we are able to provide much needed items for our fine athletes. A personal ad featuring your child helps to provide a beautiful 4-color pages for each of the programs. You can advertise in black and white or in color. The money from the programs is used for Homecoming Dinner, Spring/Fall Socials, Varsity Parent Night, and Athletic Banquet. We are inviting you to support our athletes and community.

Realignment Information |
The 2010-2012 UIL Realignment has been posted, Southwest is now represented in District 28-5A. The schools in the District are as follows: SA Southwest SA East Central SA. Highlands SA South San CC King CC Carrol The UIL Meeting took place today at the Region 20 office, SWISD was represented well by SWHS Principal Joann Fey, Coach Peter Wagner, Trainer Melanie Hinson & Manuel Valles. Way to go and good luck
