Training will be in the SOS Portable which can be found directly behind Bldg. 203 (the last portable) adjacent to Bldg. 200. Parking is available in the large parking lot to the side of Bldg. 203. There will be signs to help direct you to our location.

The Lighthouse Program
Southwest ISD is recruiting mentors to be a part of the Lighthouse Program.
The program aims to increase literacy, enable academic success and develop self-confidence by connecting young people with positive role models within the Southwest community.Click here to learn more.
Mentors Will...
Increase literacy, enabling students to discover the joy of reading as a tool for academic success.

Act as role models for students, broadening their understanding of opportunities for them to have bright, successful futures.

Improve the self-esteem of students, inspiring them to believe in themselves today and tomorrow.
