SWISD Accounting Department
Purpose
The Accounting Department consists of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets. The primary purpose is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the district's financial records.  A few of the many functions of Accounting Department are: maintaining all financial accounts, paying all district liabilities, performing bank reconciliations, maintaining bank records and investment of funds.  
Goal
The goal of the Accounting Department is to accurately account for and report all financial transactions of the District in accordance to GAAP, GASB, FASB and TEA guidelines.
