2017 Afterschool Challenge Program

The Afterschool Challenge Program is a quality after school program that operates Monday through Wednesday from 3:40 pm to 5:45 pm for students Kinder through 5th grade. The program offers a structured, fun, and safe environment where children can have access to homework assistance, tutoring, participate in activities such as arts and crafts, organized games, computer time, Girl Scouts, Child Safe Karate, nutrition sessions, and much more. Students enrolled are also treated to a healthy snack. Students are supervised by SWISD certified teachers and college student aides. The Afterschool Challenge Program is a partnership between SWISD and the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services. It is an affordable program with a ONE TIME FEE based on a family size, income, and the number of children per family participating.

Payment plans are available. Enrollment is limited. Registration is on-going through the academic school year.
