English Class Recieves a Letter from President Obama
Ms. Barbra King and her 9th grade Applied English class have been writing several letters to different people when she suggested writing to President Obama.  The class wrote rough drafts, edited them, and then rewrote.  The letters were then sent as a group to President Obama on December 15, 2009.  In February of 2010, they received a reply.  The class received a very nice letter, a picture of President Obama, and a picture of Bo, their dog.  The students were very excited and impressed that the President took time out of his busy schedule to write to them!
