Meet the Council

The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council comprises representatives from each high school within the district. This council serves as a direct platform for members to communicate and engage with the Superintendent.

 

Our primary goal is to ensure that students feel adequately represented and that SWISD offers an equitable education while fostering the exploration and development of their unique talents, abilities, and viewpoints. The Student Advisory Council meetings provide students with the opportunity to openly voice their concerns, suggestions, and constructive feedback regarding matters related to the educational experience within SWISD. Additionally, this council not only incorporates student input but also imparts valuable lessons in leadership.

 

The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council works not only to develop students but also to support favorable school conditions for student learning and to ensure the safety and well-being of SWISD students.
