Our Mission
The mission of the SWISD Transportation Department is to support the academic, social and physical endeavors of the schools for students by providing safe, caring, efficient and effective transportation services. By working with students, parents, and school personnel in a positive manner, we will help to provide an environment that is conducive to success.
Our Goals
As members of the education community, SWISD Transportation Department Bus Drivers and Assistants will serve as an example for student riders by presenting a professional image, providing positive interactions and maintaining a safe and clean school bus environment. Our Bus Drivers and Assistants will gain public confidence through courteous and safe operation of district vehicles by strictly observing all traffic laws, using defensive driving, maintaining route reliability, and dealing with all customers and the general public in a and professional manner.
