Summer School Information
Smart Start and Fine Arts Academy programs run from June 7, 2023, to June 28, 2023. Additional dates and times for specific programs, such as Summer Band, will be sent out through email or Remind. Please contact 210-622-4335 if you have specific questions.
Smart Start will be hosted by feeder pattern schools from June 7 to 28 for K-12 grade students. Dates and days of the week will vary based on program needs.
Special Education Compensatory Services program services will be held from June 7 - 28, 2023.
Additional information on other programs has been sent by email, Remind, phone, and flyers or letters from campus principals.
Please note, new this year, there is a national holiday on Monday, June 19, 2023, in observance of Juneteenth Day.
All elementary sites are for current Kinder - 5th-grade students.
The elementary instructional day runs from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday - Thursday only.
Elementary breakfast is from 7:25 to 8:25 a.m.

The City of San Antonio Summer Youth Program will be held in the DAEP Cafeteria from June 12, 2023, to August 4, 2023. Registration is available through the SWISD Office of Community Education.
