Southwest ISD offers several programs of choice for Southwest ISD students as well as student in the San Antonio Area. Learn about each program and how to apply below.

Hidden Cove STEAM Academy

AT HCSA, We ENCOURAGE innovation! We EMBRACE non-traditional learning! We ELEVATE student-outcomes.

Kriewald Road School of the Arts

SWISD Students at other campuses should complete the Application for Student Transfer in English or Spanish

Student not enrolled in SWISD should complete the New Student Registration

CAST STEM High School

CAST STEM High School is a career-themed high school that will prepare students for leadership positions in the STEM field. CAST STEM works hand-in-hand with industry partners to prepare students for careers in engineering, technology, advanced manufacturing, and global logistics. Some features of the unique program include project-based learning to real-world problems to solve, as well as job shadowing, mentorships, internships, and job opportunities upon graduation.

Early College High School
Southwest ISD provides an Early College High School program. This partnership with our high school campuses and a colleges allows students to earn up to 60 college credit hours and an associates degree at no cost to the students. The associates degrees can lead to a bachelor’s degree.

SWHS offers ECHS for Cybersecurity and Pre-Nursing
SWLH offers ECHS for Cybersecurity and Teaching

District Transfers
Students may apply to attend another SWISD campus that is not aligned with their residential address using the District Transfer Forms in English or Spanish
