This week, SWISD celebrated Read Across America week which celebrates the joy of reading and the birthday of Dr. Seuss with fun activities at school. Read Across America is meant to inspire a love of reading in our students and encourage them to explore new worlds through books. Dr. Ball visited with students from Sky Harbour Elementary and participated in a read-aloud session. Afterward, our new Superintendent participated with the students in a "Where's Dr. Ball?" activity and spoke to students about reading and answered questions.
