Attend To Win Campaign

The Southwest ISD Truancy Department transformed into the Attendance Challenge Prize Patrol this Friday morning, visiting campuses to celebrate outstanding attendance by some of our SWISD students. The Attendance Challenge crew stopped by Scobee MS where 7th grader, Ethan Llamas, was the Tiger’s winner for perfect attendance last week for all his classes. “I didn’t even know or think this was going to happen today.” said an excited Ethan, who chose a new 40” TV that he says he will play video games on.

Next, the crew headed to Elm Creek Elementary, 3rd grader Lacey Schweers was chosen for her perfect attendance and she chose a brand new doll house to enjoy with her dolls.

The final stop was  Southwest HS to present freshman Connie Barrajas Gonzalez with the news she won perfect attendance. Connie said she was surprised that she won, and chose the laptop out of all the prizes available.

For your chance to win an Attendance Challenge prize, all you have to do is come to school every day, all day. Thank you to the Southwest Education Foundation for providing prizes. Good Luck!
