It's a rare phenomenon to see three sets of twins playing on the same football team, but this season, Freshman twins Loyal and Royal Strickland, Eyden and Jeyden Lee, and Aaron Glover and Andrew Glover shared the field together. These six players share an unspoken connection on the field, anticipating each other's moves with a level of instinct that few teammates ever achieve. The Lees enjoy playing with other twins and having each other to lean on for motivation and support. They can always tell what the other is thinking on the field, "My brother always tells me to do something that I was thinking about doing," Eyden Lee said. The Glover twins have never experienced playing with other twins before and found it exciting to be a part of a unique situation. "Playing with other sets of twins has never happened before to us." The Stricklands embrace having each other as twins and support each other in everything they do. “Don’t take your twin for granted because if you lose him, you’re going to have a missing part of your heart,” Loyal Strickland said.
The experience is also unique for coaches. Coach Bryan Myler III, a Freshman Football Coach, has yet to experience such a unique situation. "I have been doing this for 37 years. I have had twins before, but I have never had three sets," Myler said. Head Freshman Football Coach David Ellis embraces coaching three sets of twins. "It's a lot of fun to have three sets of twins," Ellis said.
These twin duos created a unique lineup, magnifying each play with their connection and tripling the team's strength and spirit.
