For this week's segment of Homegrown, we interviewed Kristina Moreno, a third grade teacher at Spicewood Park Elementary. Ms. Moreno is grateful for the opportunities that SWISD offered her as a student. "I really appreciated the opportunities that I was given here. I noticed it was a close-knit community." She also enjoys teaching her students. "Once I come into my classroom and I am teaching with my kids, it is worth it all," Ms. Moreno said.
