Seniors Addison Bartlett (Volleyball), Aazeryuan "Z" Voss (Football), and Ethan Paz (Powerlifting) made it official by signing their letters of intent in front of a packed Dragon Gym filled with family, friends, and supporters.
Aazeryuan "Z" Voss is heading to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, to continue his football journey. Z gave heartfelt thanks to his coaches, teachers, principal, and especially his family. The moment was even more meaningful with his father, an active-duty member of the U.S. military, flying in from Qatar to be there. Thank you, Mr. Voss, for your service!
Addison Bartlett will continue her volleyball career at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. Through happy tears, Addison thanked her family, coaches, and teammates for believing in her and helping her reach this moment.
Ethan Paz, one of the strongest Dragons to ever walk into the Southwest High School weight room, is staying close to home. He’s taking his powerlifting talents to the University of Texas at San Antonio. Let's hope the UTSA weight room is ready because the Roadrunners are gaining one serious powerhouse! Ethan expressed deep gratitude to his family, friends, and coaches who’ve supported him every step of the way.
We’re so proud of these three student-athletes! We can’t wait to see you shine at the next level and continue to represent the Southwest community with pride.
GO DRAGONS! GO MULES! GO GREYHOUNDS! GO RUNNERS!
