Thanks to a grant from the Southwest ISD Education Foundation, Sky Harbour students are getting to experience learning beyond the classroom. Fourth graders recently visited the historic The Alamo, where they explored the grounds and brought their Texas history lessons to life, while fifth graders will have their own exciting experience in May with a trip to Pinstack for a day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and STEAM-filled fun. Opportunities like these help create meaningful memories for students while connecting classroom lessons with real-world experiences!
