Some students visited Rice University to explore campus life and learn about the university’s programs and opportunities, while others traveled to NASA in Houston to discover the world of space exploration and honor the legacy of educator and astronaut Christa McAuliffe. Students also had the opportunity to give back by volunteering at the San Antonio Food Bank. From exploring college and career pathways to serving their community, GEAR UP is helping students discover new possibilities and dream big about their futures.
