La Familia Parent Workshops will be offered to 11th and 12th grade parents starting October 27, 2025, at the District Central Office Board Room. These workshops will run for six sessions on Mondays from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. and will focus on college and financial aid applications. The goal is to provide parents with helpful tips and resources to better support their students through this important process.

The 89th Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 12, which requires school districts to obtain written permission from a parent/guardian before providing health-related services to students, including before, during, after-school, and on school/district-sponsored activities.
