ACTUAL CONTEST AND DRAWING OF KEYS:
The administrative team will determine all qualifying students based on the criteria and the number of entries each student receives. Tickets earned from students from CAST STEM, will be assigned to a high school campus drawing based on which campus hosts the senior walk for that year. CAST STEM will have two participating students. Students from each campus who have earned at least 8 tickets for the school year, will be eligible to participate in the car giveaway finalist selection at their home campus.
Once all of the qualifying students have been determined, this represents the large pool of qualifiers. This list must be narrowed down to only 10 qualifiers from SWLHS/SWHS and 2 from CAST STEM HS. The Administrative team for each campus will then place all the qualifying students' names in a container and randomly draw names for the car giveaway. The finalists from the high schools will be provided information about the key selecting and turning at the senior walks. The finalists will get a chance to go to draw a key to start the car at the culmination of Senior Walks. The first student whose key starts the car wins the car. No other students will be allowed to try their keys after the winning student starts the car. Keys are the property of NPTOSA and must be returned following the contest. Parents and family of the qualifying students are welcome to be present.
MINORS:
In the case of a senior who is a minor, their parent or legal guardian will be responsible for filling out the entry form into the contest & the acceptance of the vehicle and all terms and conditions set forth herein, including but not limited to signing any waiver of liability on acceptance of the vehicle.
TAXES AND CHARGES:
SWISD will pay for the Tax, Title and License of the vehicle at the time of the giveaway. Any additional taxes or surcharges are the responsibility of the student an or their family.
