PEIMS Department

Thomas David is an experienced teacher with more than 18 years of experience in the field of education. His educational career began at San Antonio ISD, where he used his past experience working for a local defense contractor to show his love of math and science in the classroom to build future scientists and engineers. In 2019, Mr. David entered Southwest ISD as a math teacher at Legacy High School and in the Summer of 2022, joined the PEIMS Department as the Data Services Coordinator. Mr. David holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master’s degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching movies and documentaries.
Mackenzie Sullivan is experienced with more than 9 years in the educational realm. She is a Southwest Dragon Alumni who began her career with SWISD in January of 2015 after earning her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University San Antonio. Mrs. Sullivan was an elementary teacher for five years focusing on grades 3rd-5th. After her time there, she joined the Administration and Human Resources Department as the PEIMS Coordinator. In December of 2023, she will obtain her master’s degree from Texas A&M University San Antonio. When she is not working, Mrs. Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family.

Jenny Barrera is an experienced PEIMS Clerk with 20 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, Ms. Barrera has held both the campus and district level PEIMS Clerk positions. She is a graduating Southwest ISD Alumni and began her PEIMS Career in 2003 at Indian Creek Elementary. In the Spring of 2018, Ms. Barrera transitioned to Central Office where she became the District Assistant PEIMS Clerk. When she's not working, Ms. Barrera enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
Stephanie Perez is a Southwest ISD Alumni with 13 years of experience. Mrs. Perez started her employment in the district at Big Country Elementary in 2011 helping educators and students with their PEIMS/Attendance needs. She then transitioned to the Attendance Clerk at Resnik Middle School, when they opened their doors in 2016, before progressing to Central Office as District Assistant PEIMS Clerk. When she is not at work, she is busy creating her own sunshine by going on adventures with her husband, their 3 children, and 2 grandchildren.
