Rules For Student Conduct on School Buses

Rules for student conduct on school buses are available in all student handbooks. The following list is posted in all buses:

• Observe the same conduct as in the classroom.
• Be courteous. Use no profane language.
• Do not eat or drink on the bus.
• Keep the bus clean.
• Cooperate with the driver.
• Do not use tobacco.
• Do not be destructive.
• Stay in your seat.
• Keep head, hands, and feet inside the bus.
• Students will have assigned seats.
• All electronic devices should not be a distraction to the driver
• No video or photos on the bus example “Social Media”

Rules for student conduct on the bus are the result of years of studies to improve safety.   Students should feel confident that they will travel in a safe and secure environment.  Drivers are encouraged to "grow a relationship" with students, parents and school staff.  Drivers are coached in communicating directly with parents about bus issues.  We appreciate your cooperation in resolving student concerns.  Student discipline generated by a referral is handled by school administration.
