Your 2025-2026 Plan Year Open Enrollment window will be for both health benefits and voluntary products will be held from April 22, 2025 through May 21, 2025.

 

Open Enrollment is the annual time period in which benefit-eligible employees can make changes to their current benefit elections, change levels of coverage, and add or remove dependents without experiencing a qualifying life event. Every benefits-eligible employee is strongly encouraged to meet with an agent during the designated time at their respective campus and/or department to review their current benefits and make any necessary benefit election changes for the 2025-2026 plan year. It’s also a perfect time to review and update your beneficiary information.

 

Please note: If you wish to participate in, or re-enroll in, the health care and/or dependent care flexible spending accounts for 2025-2026, you must make an active election during open enrollment. Given the pre-tax structure of the plans, participants are required by law to re-enroll each year as the reimbursement accounts do not automatically carry over from year to year.

Important *NEW Blue Cross Blue Shield Rates for 2025-2026 Plan Year*

Due to the continued rise in costs for medical and pharmaceutical services, Blue Cross Blue Shield health premiums for the 2025-2026 plan year will experience an increase. The increase in health insurance premiums will have an impact on the employee health contribution rates. We strongly encourage employees to review the medical plan designs and the new increased rates carefully before making a medical benefit election. Your current health plan elections will remain in place through August 31, 2025.
